daboarder
high guys ive already posted some of these around the place but i decided i wanted to share the relevant models on this forum. this is my living saint http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/P5180048.jpg not much in the way of a conversion really as this modelis almost perfect with very little in the way of changes needed to personalize it. this is my WIP deamon princess(undivided) ive had this concept in my head for a LONG time but it was lady canoness' story about aribeth that finally pushed me over the edge into construction. i intend to add the morathi pegasus wings to the model as soon as i save up for my next bits order. as a note i realise that sister DO NOT fall to chaos, however i feel that it is just too good a narrative element to be ignored and it also opens up a massive amount of conversion possibilities. also whats not to like about the hot evil chick stereotype. http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/P5180056.jpg http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss2/daboarder/P5180057.jpg any comments, critism or request will be happily accepted. Grand Master Tchezzarus
Your daemoness is just plain awesome as it is! Not sure it need wings, but if you really want some, your choice of the dark pegasy one's is a good one! Just post some more pics when both models get painted! Tchezz. Arkaniss
Sweet! They both look awesome! Great work! Particularly the daemoness - its a great conversion and the hair is fantastic! Any chance of a rear view on your converted Celestine? I'm curious as to how you've attached the wings. daboarder
well arkaniss if you want ill send you a notice when ive finished the tutorial im working on that was requested for the BA board. however its mostly just a case of carving back the plastic pegasus mings until their thing/far enough up the wing for them to look natural then i pin them on with out glueing, adjust them into the pose i want and glue one at a time then greenstuff downy feathers around the base. the SM corversion involves a bit more work tho but what ive described should be fine for celestine. Arkaniss
Ah, right cool. In that case i look forward to seeing the turorial! :) I've got my own Celestine model (naturally) but i've always fancied having a go at another one and giving her wings.
