Sisters and by extension the Living Saint don't have the Inquisitional '=][=' on their armour but the Eccelsiarchy '][' which does not have the thee middle crosses but a pair of wings and a skull or star or neither in the middle. I pologise for not replying sooner, but I was caught in a convention and I didn't have much time until now to come back to the boards. I'd like to acknowledge the comments regarding my stealing designs or not: I do not steal designs. From anyone. Whatever people might think is their business, but I just don't do it, and you can ask ask anyone who's worked with me; other opinions are, of course, biased and I can't do anything but ignore them. All in all, though, I think we must all realise we're working a bit under GWs jurisdiction, so to speak, and that means that no one is able to tell no one that anything is 'stolen', per sé, because we're not talking about our own copyrights or characters to begin with, so... let us enjoy the grace of GW in letting us use their wonderful background and move on. Now, for some answers... Anyway, back on the topic...I really do like them (especially the Eisenhorn, with the great use of background, Chapter Master and Living Saint drawings) but to me, the Khan one looks a little weird in regard to proportions. His shoulder pad looks to be too far back and the arm too much forward in the picture, if you get what I mean. I don't know if it is the angle or not, but the Khan looks a little wide when compared to his height. To me, the legs look a little off, but again, this could be the angle. Anyhow, that's all for now. You're right about what you mentioned, indeed, Sigismund and I certainly had certain doubts of my own with the angle of this piece. But, all in all, and visual tricks aplenty, what I didn't want to do was another 'money shot' of the same character, with the same battelfield backdrop and went for some experimenting. The client liked it, luckily, and I think the oddities do not detract TOO much from the image. I do agree that the Khan looks a bit wider, but I tend to make Marines rather bulkier and wider, than tall. The legs are in a position of advance, so I guess that's why they might look strange. I tried to capture a sort of 'frame' within a much longer action movement, to give the work more dynamism. The pads, though, you're right and they do look off in regards to the arms. Everything's noted for the next time, and thanks again! I envision Kor'sarro has just pounced on an adversary, crushing them, and is coming out of a crouching position to engage other foes with his bolt pistol. If that's the case, then I can understand why his torso area looks a little too far forward and his legs look a little farther back and apart. I do agree that the he looks a little wide when compared to his height. Space Marines tend to have that lean, muscular body build but in some cases there are the ones that are shorter and stalkier, like Kor'sarro in this illustration I suppose. That's a better explanation than mine and much more in tune with what I wanted to achieve, Darth, so thank you! Beautiful pieces of work dude i love it. You help me get such details as the Inquisitorial ][ versus the Eclessiarchy ][ right, which is something I cannot sometimes look up on my own, if the client doesn't specify it. I first saw Mr E and well, he's pretty cool, regal, noble and divinely calm and distant... Then I scrolled down to see comments and well... Tha't huge, so huge !!! You perfectly know that if I have to ride to Argentina to break a few finger and ease every-one's pain when we meet your talent, I just will 8). So bad I'm on a few projects atm and that founds are not limitless... So many things to say about these artpieces. As you've guessed, =I= Ein is my favorite... Raaaah his gaze !!! I may have to approach you for a commission for my GIY Chapter one of these days. In regards to that, how would I go about doingn it. CAn you PM me the details or whatever.
