onipunk
I've only recently gotten into the hobby, and I'm greatly enjoying the painting aspect of it. I've started a custom Chapter, and I would like you guys to give your opinions on the best paint scheme. http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/5567/paintschemes.png Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/169104-wip-paint-schemes/ Share on other sites
Cedric
Welcome to the hobby! I hear white and yellow are tricky colours to pull off nicely. I'd go with number 3, the paladins, on the basis that white is difficult and demands a more practiced painter in order to look good. White as a dominating colour can definitely be done, but it requires shaded recesses, highlights and contrasting colours that other colourus are more forgiving about. By all means, if you want to paint white, you can learn a lot here on B&C and practice paint until you have the skills to go all in with a full army in white.. shrike.ex
I would have to say #3 for the same reason. I will say however that white is possibly the most distinct main color you can use in an army, but only if you can do it well. onipunk
Thanks for the help guys. I was originally basing the Chapter off of the Knights Templar from British history, but now I'm just changing to the Paladins.
