Kindawkward
My first post. yay! An attempt to recreate the marine on the cover of the dawn of war 2 game. Some minor differences, like the chest eagle, which i will leave with the blood drop as it is on the model, instead of just an aquilla. also, i couldnt get a gaunt for under his right boot. Too bad.... the back of the hammerhead still needs to be touched up, as does the handle. suggestions, comments? http://fc05.deviantart.com/fs45/i/2009/147/c/6/Dawn_of_War_2_Cover_Marine_by_Kindawkward.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/169620-dawn-of-war-2-cover-model/ Share on other sites
PLUGitIN
hammer's too big and the handle is too long - the guy is rocking the TH towards the end of handle you didn't want to try cutting the right leg to have him walking up some rocks too? from what i remember that's what he's doing. i guess there's no point mentioning it but that's a pretty gnarly mold-line on the helmet too. Rob_Loken
I think it's looking quite good. Though I agree with PLUGitIN about the hammer, just try moving his hand a bit further up the handle, And deal with the mold line and I'd say it's a pretty good representation of the front cover marine. Look forward to seeing more. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/169620-dawn-of-war-2-cover-model/#findComment-2002887 Share on other sites
Zarmon
Actually he standing on a nid body but I think it would look better with that and a smaller handle on the hammer Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/169620-dawn-of-war-2-cover-model/#findComment-2002927 Share on other sites
