Modelling: customising your AOBR termies

I just got my hands on some AOBR termies, I plan to use one of them for my chapter master (I will add lots of detail of course), but I didnt like the head looking that direction. After looking how the head was put togeather I cut the face off of the body, then used a drill bit and a circular file to clean out the cowl thing so I could put a new head in.

I then cut the back half and the round bottom off a marine head so it would fit into the cowl thing.

After that it was simple to attach the head to the cowl. With a bit of plasticard behinde the head to hold it in it would look really good.

I dont plan to use this head, it was just an extra I had lying around for the tutorial. :D

Exactly what I did with one of mine, with the same head, although I'm using him as a pre heresy termie sergeant. The other bodies are hard to remove the heads from without damage being done, so I left them as they are
