cann0nf0dder
Nice one, I used to live in Queensland so I can second the point about heat and humidity, messed up many times with that one. Ekkanus
Nice tut wokkers. I haven't had the priviledge (sp?) of using Resin models just yet, but, because i'm going to GD UK this year, i'm hoping to get either a titan or some Death Korp models from the Forgeworld part, so that tutorial will come in handy - I live in Scotland, and at the moment the last couple of days has been the only decent spraying weather for a while. If you have a box/booth for spraying, do you still need to use the lacquer stuff? wokkers
thanks for the votes of confidence guys :D @cannonfodder: my grandmother lives in cairns. i have never tried painting there, but i have experienced the weather. i can sympathise ;) @Ekkanus: apologies on taking so long to reply. the telephone company cut through a bunch of cables in my area recentley....no interweb for almost two weeks (eek!). to answer your question, i would still reccomend the laquer coat regardless - still use your spray booth though - catch that overspray ;) . the clear coat is more to do with helping the subsequent coats of paint adhere to the resin. of course this is just my method. the most important step in the washing step. warm soapy water. soak. toothbrush. rinse. repeat. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170052-paitning-priming-resin/#findComment-2020361 Share on other sites
