a-nesuto Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 can dark eldar have frag grenades. a DE player at my LGS has been assaulting through terrain with his warriors and raiders claiming they have grenades. ive taken a look at the codex recently and notice they dont even have the option for them :D is he cheating or am i missing something? angry man Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 as stated above, dark eldar can take plasma grenades - the rules in the codex allow a unit with plasma grenades to strike in initiative order when they charge into cover, in 4th ed rules this was different to frag grenades (which caused units to strike simultaneously). however under 5th ed rules both frag and plasma grenades fall under the same category of assault grenades (not sure of the BRB page number - try the index). the assault grenades rule allows equipt units (be it with plasma, frag etc...) to strike in initiative order when assaulting/charging into cover. so in answer to your question, if your DE opponents has paid the points for plasma grenades, they come equipped as if they have frags and therefore act accordingly AM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
