Some good points

Although deemed as uninhabitable, the planet have a human inhabitants

this line needs changing to something like, 'Although deemed as uninhabitable, the plant does have some human inhabitants'

if its a desert why does it have killer planets, one of the defining features of a desert is that they are almost lifeless, would some form of creature not work better (still however adopting you 'grey time' for when it moves)

What is it a *killer planets*?

And also it isnt desert like Sahara but more like Mexico coutryside. The planet is dry and almost lifeless, but not only sand and rock, the closer to polar the more hospitable Polar Area
