I downloaded it and tried it in Vue d'Esprit 6, which is the only 3d program I have access to these days (aside from Poser). I thought I had been able to import Max files to Vue in the past, but this did not work here, so I guess I must have remembered wrong. Any possibility of getting it as a Vue scene?
