Wolf Priest Haelaeif
He looks quite good, actually. I'd even say that is an awesome conversion, and while the paint job is probably nothing you'd win a GD for, it's still not bad either. Just give him a proper base, and he will look awesome. odinswolf
give the metal areas a good black wash..and the finished base will really help Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170349-master-of-the-chapter/#findComment-2012254 Share on other sites
Balog
I think it looks quite good, although the pics are a bit fuzzy. Personally I prefer less busy color schemes: the red and yellow on the shield, and the blue on the.... thunder hammer? Crozius? The smashy thing anyway :) is a bit distracting. But that's just what I prefer, not a technical issue. Â I especially like the larger shield; how did you make that? sword brethren
thanks for the swift comments brothers!  ill give the wash a try  thunder hammer? Crozius?  I especially like the larger shield; how did you make that?   its an axe but ill use it as a thunder hammer i thinks  i am in the odd situation where i have 3 or 4 demolished rhinos laying around my room, that shield was basically made from the hull of the least mangled rhino, the spikey chaos sprue thing and a BT symbol thing. Imperator Mos
The paint looks very thick, especially the metallics. The worst thing you can do is go straight to chainmail/mithril... Vel'Cona
Yup, the conversion outweighs the paintjob. Not that the painting is bad though, it's just a very big and bold conversion, which wants for a snazzier base and maybe some inking. Captain Mike
That is bad ass, as has been said. I think the metals will do excellently with a proper wash, but other than it is very nice. Terminatorinhell
Just go over the metals with badab black wash (slightly watered down) and you will be golden!
