Introducing Void (Soulhunter)

Hail Brothers,

 

I present to you Void, my oddly conceived and crafted Culexus assassin. I wanted to do something different, perhaps a little off the wall, but certainly distinctive. I strived for a muted palette so that the focus would be on her face/helm which represents the Animus Speculum.

 

Because she is generic enough in her appearance, she could represent an adept of any of the other Temples except for Vindicare. I have in mind to make two more female assassins to represent a Callidus and an Eversor. Together they will be known as the Three Sisters.

 

Anyway, she was fun to put together and fiddle around with and since I didn't have a deadline on her, I had time to take a more leisurely pace.

 

I look forward to introducing her to many IG Psychic Battle squads in the future. :wub:

I really like your model, i saw the wip's as well. i like her pose and use of bits. i've wondered where you got her "hands" though.

 

nice to see it painted properly as well.

I find it interesting how you're never really sure something (i.e. concept) works until it's viewed through others. I like how she turned out and will use her regardless, but I find it satisfying when others think, "Yeah, that turned out Ok".

 

Her hands come from the WFB Empire Flagellants box. They are the ends of flails. I don't know why, but as soon as I saw them, all I could think of was, "Wow, those would make for some very wicked looking hands".
