ArmouredWing
But I noticed you could move vehicles... *Evil ideas*Here's a couple of my favourite 'word in your ear' tactics. Firstly vehicles. Use you opponents vehicles to block LoS from other opposing vehicles/units. Alright, they'll be able to move stuff in their turn but if you park an artillary piece in the direct LoS of another vehicle unit something will have to move and chances are that your opponent will lose a turn of firing with something. Secondly, move hvy weapons/sniper squads behind a LoS blocking terrain piece so that they have to move and forgo a turn of shooting. This is the choice I opt for when fielding a callidus and it'll infuriate your opponent no end, especially after they've taken careful time to place their long ranged infantry in the perfect spot! antique_nova
tried the second one didn't bother the guy at all. and i used it with a bt army or three rhinos and marines with a dread and assault squad. he just had so many 5 man combat squad that were split up from the original 10 man squads. ultra. thanks antique_nova Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170488-callidus-assasin/page/3/#findComment-2016242 Share on other sites
revnow
Anti Combat squad is one of the things the Callidus does really well. In most instances she strikes first, can take out 2-3 with shooting, and removes a scoring unit off of an otherwise safe objective. Combat squads can be a real pain against Daemonhunters just because we rarely have the force presence neccesary to create a wide zone of contestation. I find that the Callidus can pretty reliably wipe out a combat squad in a single turn of Neural Shredder + Assault. Agreed, if there's anything the callidus is good at vs MEQ it is to whipe out SMALL squads Mel Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170488-callidus-assasin/page/3/#findComment-2017036 Share on other sites
