AnDyzZzoRe
This will be the start of my WIP blog for my Deathwing I thought I'd share the following pics, to keep me motivated to complete them. My overall plan is to collect and paint all 100 brothers in the First Company, and although I have painted 2 squads of Deathing before, as my painting has improved I wanted to redo them to have a unified look. I have 35 termies at the moment, but only started last week on the painting. I'd like all comments and criticism, thoughts etc. but please keep in mind that I only started painting in December, these are tabletop quality, and I am still not happy with the way I paint bone. On to the photos! Okidus
I second the wash. I mix sepia and mud for a mid tone between the two. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170646-deathwing-army-wip/#findComment-2035679 Share on other sites

AnDyzZzoRe
Thanks for the input, its always good to have another pair of eyes! I always miss little details like that, and will attempt to fix these asap. I now have a hand drill thing so have started drilling barrels, also a great big thank you for noticing the moldline! I am nervous about washing the bone, as the first terminator i did i washed and wasnt able to keep the bone looking nice with the wash. I guess trial and error will be the process here. Thanks Sword Bretheren! I'm really happy with how he turned out, and I played with him for the first time last night, slaughtered his way through roughly 500 points of eldar without taking a single wound  *edit spelling* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170646-deathwing-army-wip/#findComment-2036134 Share on other sites
