Brother Kassius
Hello there B&C! Long time lurker here. I finally decided to register and join the ranks! I love to paint Warhammer models, and to draw characters of this universe so I'd love to share some of my artwork with you folks. After reading the rules, I wont be posting direct images here as some of them are over 2meg 2000x1500 pixels  Links to my art (click on the pictures to make them full sized if you are not familiar with deviantArt): http://ghettomole.deviantart.com/art/St-Ka...Death-125492654 -St. Kassius The Angel of Death, a cannonized Space Marine Chaplain http://ghettomole.deviantart.com/art/Space...elmet-124267607 -Space Marine Chaplain Helmet http://ghettomole.deviantart.com/art/2-Min...plain-114943391 -Space Marine Chaplain (quick sketch) http://ghettomole.deviantart.com/art/Assau...arine-104327558 -Ultramarine Assault Marine chainswording a poor Tau Fire Warrior http://ghettomole.deviantart.com/art/Force...ssius-103788271 -Force Commander Kassius of the Dark Angels, before a series of (unfortunate?) events lead him to become a chaplain. A few more Space Marines and other 40K related things are still lurking in there, so feel free to look around :) Hope you enjoy my artwork! Rapture747
I like the style these are done with. I'm no artist but for a little C&C work on keeping the legs proportional to the rest of the body. Liltom
You're style and detailing is really amazing. The only thing I'd be tempted to work on would be the posing and proportions, but they are still pretty good. Overall, really nice drawings =D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170848-my-space-marine-artwork/#findComment-2018929 Share on other sites
Brother Kassius
Glad you like them. I do need to work on proportions, but I tend to emphasize some things, making them larger then necessary. Still, realism never hurts ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170848-my-space-marine-artwork/#findComment-2018937 Share on other sites
StubbyGB
Nice work, there is a mixed set of styles and quality levels here, and its possible to see how you have progressed. My favorite is the last one, the Dark Angel. The exaggeration of the proportions lends it a very cartoonish style. Keep up the good work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170848-my-space-marine-artwork/#findComment-2019171 Share on other sites
Brother Kassius
Yes, the lower one goes down the list the older the drawing is, and less refined the style is. I just finished the top one a couple of days ago. Slowly but surely ironing out my own style when drawing Space Marines =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/170848-my-space-marine-artwork/#findComment-2019328 Share on other sites
Demonrich
I really like the Angel of Death piece. It is obvious that you put a lot of work into it. I think that you might want to look at how the marine interacts with the background though. Having his feet flat at the very bottom of the image looks a bit odd. Attaching him to some foreground would help a lot.
