tedwin183
I can't seem to find it, but I remember hearing something about IC's with a mark (lets say tzeentch) can't join squads with a different mark (lets say Nurgle). Is this printed somewhere, or is that something from the previous chaos codex? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171124-chaos-marks/ Share on other sites
Cypher 102
Those are from a previous chaos codex. You can now mix and match all you want. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171124-chaos-marks/#findComment-2022123 Share on other sites
JamesI
The current codex states that an IC doesn't benefit from an icon carried by a unit they join (with the exception of Chaos Glory). But nothing against a Khorne Lord from joining a unit of Thousand Sons if he really wants to. OwlandMoonGuy
There is a rule in Chaos Daemons Codex, Daemonic Rivalry, IIRC that states IC’s dedicated to a particular god cannot join units of any other. For example, you don’t find Khorne Heralds leading daemonettes, etc. As stated above, this is not true for Chaos marines. -OMG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171124-chaos-marks/#findComment-2022374 Share on other sites
