Armoured spearhead composition

No, FW is opponents permission only - though with the Non Superheavy/Flyers stuff I've never met someone who minded.

I myself have a Prometheous and a Siege Dreadnought, and no one has yet objected to them. Mostly the problems come when people try to use the really OP stuff as a "surprise" - quite a lot of the basic stuff isn't too bad. Also, some of the army lists are not properly balanced; they are more fluff lists so to keep things simpler for Tournaments they aren't allowed.

Of course, Apocalypse anything goes. I certainly wouldn't say I needed my opponents permission to stick things from IA; or IA: Apocalypse in my list. But that's just me. As for WGBG =/= Honour Guard/Command Squad... no, they don't by RAW. But fluff wise, yes, so I will continue to do this.

Well the reduced transport capacity is not a problem as my squad was too expensive anyway, and I don't want a drop pod for an assault based squad. And I think my planned formation would look better than 3 crusaders up front, and a Prometheus is "used as a command tank" so fluffy.

It says in Apocalypse you can substitute a unit for the equivilant one in your codex. Thats why Chaos can use SM datafaxes.

So... Tactical Squad= Grey Hunter, Assault Squad=Bloodclaws, etc.
