Demon prince

Hey all finished my DP the other day. I know the base isn't done but the base I had made for it was lost somehow turned my room upside down to find it but no luck : /. Anyway life goes one!

If you know how I could improve my painting in any way please let me know. I really want to get better since just before a few months I basicly ignored the painting part of the hobby to about 90% of my figures.

It looks like a solid effort. If you're looking to improve I'd say rely less on drybrushing. I could be wrong, but from the pics it appears as though a large portion of the model was highlighted via drybrushing. As a result it appears a bit grainy. Again, I could be totally off base here and maybe it's just the graininess of the pics throwing me off.

Well, one thing you could do next time is using some green stuff to blend in the wings in the carapace,

they really look as though they are glued on, certainly in the front pic. (ofc it could be what you were looking for :P)

On the other side I really love the blue-and-red, and personally I like the grainy look drybrushing gives,

certainly on dark, chaotic models.

Nice model <_<

Love'n it!

How did you do those awesome wings!

First thanks for all the replies, I will get me some greenstuff to fix the wings I do admit on one of the wings there is a gap.

First I cover the wings with Tallarn Flesh, kind of thick dry brushing with Rotting flesh and then a light dry brush of elf flesh. After that I washed them with badab black.
