So this time I thought I'd post up my WiP shots here, so that you fine folks can see my work as it's being done and hopefully this'll help me get a finished force complete for the first time! Okay, As obviously stated in the threads title I shall be constructing a sizable force of the Emperors finest Blood Ravens! I'm starting out small, just one squad to start. The fine, unpainted chap at the front will be my 'forces' leader for the moment, Force Sergeant Dupate. C&C is always welcome througout this project, in fact...I encourage it! (What do you mean who's he? He's been there the whole time!) :P And thats why he's the scout Sgt... Now this is just a single coat of foundation red...better colour will arrive soon! arutha Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 Really looking forward to seeing more. I have been looking for days to decided what chapter I wanted to do next. I have been working on Crimson Fist, but i am currently so sick of painting blue i cant take it anymore. I have a Tac squad and a dread just begging to be painted. Luku Posted June 23, 2009 Author Share Posted June 23, 2009 Okay, admittedly not a lot done for the time between updates, but hey, I had my son over for the weekend... :) So here is Force Sergeant Dupate with a nice coat of Scab Red, a 50/50 mix of Red Gore and Blazing Orange for highlights, and 2 coats of Baal Red wash... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/lukulucius/SquadA-1-Dupate.jpg And because the flash throws the colours three shades up...here's one without the flash! :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/lukulucius/SquadA-1-Dupate-2.jpg As for the green fist, fluff wise Dupate and a Salamander (dunno his name) are the two lone survivors of an ambush (from who I dunno yet), to show the respect and comrade-ship the two have built up fighting together and surviving said ambush, they swap gauntlets...(Too cheesy?
