Lord Draco
I was thinking about doing my keeper o secrets in the guise of a young girl and i was wondering if i would still need o put it on a large greater daemon base? Vassakov
Yes, it would need to be on the 60mm base. What you'll have more problems with is the size - Greater Daemons are big, little girls are not. You'd have to have some thing scenery wise on the base for LoS purpose, or just a cut out of a Keeper that you can stick on the base for working out LoS issues. And for the fluff justification - Daemon Bound into little girl creates warp disturbances in around the girl as Daemon tries to force it's way into reality. Fire around the little girl disrupts this, weakening the Daemon are increases its chances of failing to materialise fully. Lord Draco
so a cut out would be ok for LoS purposes? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171356-keeper-o-secrets-question/#findComment-2025238 Share on other sites
OwlandMoonGuy
During one of the earlier pod casts from the game designers, it was stated that there may be instances where a, “proxy model” would be necessary to calculate TLoS. Since this isn’t an official rule it’s just a guideline but could work for you in this case. At the same time, since you’re using a less than human sized model to represent a monstrous creature it might be perceived that you did so to cheat the TLoS system. Why not use an KoS model and paint it ghostly white, i.e. spectral, and then place the fully painted little girl on the same base? That could confer the same idea yet maintain the full size of the greater daemon model. Just a thought. -OMG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171356-keeper-o-secrets-question/#findComment-2025307 Share on other sites

LuNCHBiZZLe
With some way to draw a TLoS to the model with out it being WAY under sized that would be fine in my book, both OMG and Vassakov's ideas are great IMO.
