Flesh Tearers Chapter
Brighton Warlords 16th of August 2009 40k Doubles Tournament King and Queen Pub 13-14 Marbourgh place Brighton East Sussex England Timings Roughly: 9am-8pm Hello & welcome to Brighton Warlords 40k Doubles tournament Right it will be 1000 points in total. Split in to 2 seperate forces up to 500 points each. No more can be spent on each force. So if 1 side is under by 9 odd points for instance, you cant use the spare points on your allies force In each persons 500 point force you must take 1 troops! + in your combined force you must take a HQ. Some armies like TAU ask you to always take a battlesuit commander. You may see in your codex 0-1. In the tournament I shall waive that fact. So if you have a combined force of TAU. You can only take 1 Commander. In essence no matter what people try to wangle. 1 HQ is all you can take in the 1000 points. Though if you ally yourself with an army that states 0-1, he must be the HQ You can then use the standard force organisation for other choices. Though if you wish to take a second, Elites, Fast attack, heavy support. You must first take 1 of the other choices. So the combined army can look like this 1 HQ (Maximum) 2 Troops (minimum, though you can take up to 4 more troops in total) 1 Elites 1 Heavy Support 1 Fast Attack If you now want a second elite, heavy support or fast attack now you can. Note you can only take a second if you have filled up the 3 above slots. NOTE: Troops are not affected by the need to take anything else. You can have an army of 6 troops & 1 HQ if you want If you want a 3rd elite, heavy support or fast attack. You must have 2 elites, 2 heavy support & 2 fast attack Hope thats clear biggrin.gif You need to bring along 2 copies of your army roster (if you haven’t already sent 1 to us), painted miniatures, tape measure, dice & templates & any additional things you think you might need. Like extra rules for your army & super glue! You gain points for: Generalship (you will score 30 for a win, 10 for a draw, 1 for a loss, 0 for conceding + You need to total up all the victory points you scored aganist your opponents for victory points purposes after each round) Army roster (needs to be correct) WYSIWYG (Remember that it's quite difficult, so don't get annoyed if you don't achieve this. In essence everything that states it has something that can be seen or there is a part for must have it, E.g Space marine. Armed with bolter, bolt pistol, frag & krak grenades. These must all be represented on the model. WYSWIG is there to reward players that take that extra bit of dedication to there army. Other than someone who just does a 3 colour list as its the best & dirtiest list they can think of) Detailed (this means more than 3 colours on each model. Some shading, highlighting....more than 3 colours. Though this needs to be on each model + 5 detailed proper objective markers, painted and based (in total, you dont need 10 objective markers, they cant be dice on bases........its lame!) Scenery shall be placed before the game starts, refrain from moving bits around. If it has been moved or you think it's not right. Ask & a judge shall move it about The missions will be chosen from the 40k rules book by the judges before each round, it will be 1 of the standard missions.
