Nice models, and a nice freehand on the standard :P

 

If I can give you one advice, try to work cleaner,

get the paint only on the places you want it to be :)

Thanks Hidje! and yeah i need to find a good brush. and im still a pretty amateur painter, but im a lot better than i used to be, so i guess ill just keep at it. thanks again.

I like your choice of red for the Ravens.

 

You're far braver than I am with regards to freehand, but it looks like practice will take you to excellence in that regard, though I will say that your highlighting seems a bit... heavy-handed, especially without inking/shading to balance it out.

 

Oh, and for extra 'oomph', drilling out your gun barrels is all kinds of win.

Anytime I see a freehand Standard, i have to tip my hat to its creator. I'm still using the old standard bearer with a print out of Ultramarines 3rd company.
