As I have a sizable Chaos force unpainted and unassembled I've been giving some thought to what Legion/Chapter I'd like to go with. I'd like to stay as generic as possible (but not bland like the BL). I like the color scheme to the Apostles of Minthras, but I can't find any decals for them anywhere. I have never made decals before though. Everytime I try and reduce and image it seems to look pixelated. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Also I haven't been able to find any background on the AoM. Sköll Khan Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 Fluff wise, you can make some assumptions from their Name, colour scheme, iconography, etc Personnel opinion: Red and Silver = Word Bearers "Apostles" = Word Bearers "Mithras" = Religious figure/ Zealous? / Word Bearers Black skull on Red = Word Bearer like Chaos Star = Undivided M33 = M33 ...but they don't have any fluff so you can create your own, even if they had something to do with the Word Bearers, as they aren't Word Bearers there is going to be some major differences As for the decals, try GIMP for editing, its free and works pretty well.
