Mordith
Not sure this matters much (im new to 40k) but this would be for Orks Vs. SM. Question 1: For models with power weapons in CC do all of their attacks count as using the power weapon? Example - Squad has 10 units... 1 has a power sword, the other a powerfist. They charge a unit of Orks. So 3 attacks a piece (the power fist goes on Init 1) but for those 2 models do their attacks all give no armor saves? Question 2: When a unit with Plasma pistols/guns get into CC do their attacks use the AP/Str of the Plasma weapons for all of that models attacks? Same as above example but change the power weapons to a Plasma Pistol and a Plasma gun. Do those 2 Models get insta kills with all of their attacks? Thanks in advance all!! Grey Mage
The model who has a powerweapon counts all their attacks as a powerweapons attacks. The one with a powerfist likewise counts all their attacks as a powerfists. No... plasma pistols just count as an extra Close Combat Weapon *CCW* wich gives you an extra attack- unless the weapon is a lightning claw, power/chainfist or a thunderhammer. Grey Mage
No problem, this is always a good place to ask, or in the forum for whatever codex your using.
Mordith
Just thought of another. When you win a CC, and you make your consolidate move, can you move directly into another assault if you can get into base contact with that move?
Grey Mage
Sadly not. That was a rule in a previous edition but they specificly took it out of this one because it caused a large powerful mellee unit to be able to march from one side of the table to the other without ever being shot at- you just kept charging another unit again and again. It sucked for the other guy was unsportsmanlike.
Mordith
Ok, good. I played with that rule this weekend and went through about 16 of my sons Orks before I ran out of troops to kill. Glad for that change. Thanks again!
