Welcome to Megs Great Hall, have an ale and enjoy the eyecandy!

I'm building a new Space Wolves army so I can retire my old RT/2nd ed force. I've decided take out all the stops and make this my showcase Army. There will be lots of conversions as the bulk of my Wolves will be wearing Mk 4 and Mk 6 armor; they are my favorites. Each models will have a 3D Great Company badge I sculpted and am reproducing with a push mold as a guide.

This is my master badge.

Here is the first finished Grey Hunter. I went for forest basing to match my new terrain.

I've got another five Hunters blocked out so should have them up by the end of the week.

Nice! I'm totally digging the grey as well, much better than the baby-blue Wolves I see so much of.

The nitpicky part of me thinks the green grenades clash a little, but I imagine it won't be noticeable when there's an army of these guys on the table.

Very Nice! i've painted space wolves for friends before but this by far blows my work out of the water.

Though from what I hear, the command squad I painted for him did win 3rd place in a contest at a local hobby center of his. Don't worry it wasn't anything too official, I know that's against Golden Demon rules and regs. :P

All looking cool as per usely Megalodon. I really like how you grey armour turn out, not the blue-ish grey GW use, good old classic Wolfs you got there.

Also you'll be happy with the new Wolf sprue, I've been given new info by a friend who see them :D

Let me officially introduce the Venerable Dreadnought Skeld Redmane to the denizens of the B&C! Painting is done and he's ready to smite the foes of the Imperium!

Thanks for all the fantastic feedback!

I really like the forest basing. You almost never see that on 40k figures; especially Space Wolves, who so often keep a wintery theme.

Yeah, I'm not huge fn of the Winter basing theme as they look silly on most tables that you game on.

Once I get some more of the new Wolves painted I will do a photo shoot on my forest table to show how well these bases bend in on it.

Thanks again!
