Regarding the wings, if anything I thought it made them look a little more brutal, if not then a lot more viking. As you know the wings are there to respresent the wings often used/feautured on viking decor. They used horns as well but trying to avoid that as last thing I want (fluff wise anyways) (Impeial army officer)oh look an army landing way off in the distance must be our SM reinforcements.(looks thru scope). SH*T I SEE HORNS, forces of chaos. OPEN FIRE!!!!!!!. " :P Raven wise, I actualy got an empire sheild with a raven sat on it. Forgot to add it when making him and now to scared to add onto finished model to be honest. I also got a few smaller warmachine crows I could use. I may get the courage to add them on to him. Eye wise :P , yes was to replace his eye which I had in mind, even before someone kindly pointed that out to me. @ 1TH0R3, how long you been painting, and yes the colour scheme is very close. Great mind is what I put it down to. I do like the way youve done them, very gritty and splattered with blood. I do understand that the helmet on the mounted Odin looks a bit odd, but simply don't have the cash to buy another complete set of FW Terminator SW's. As got those bit I already have for a bits site and don't think hes gonna re-stock them anytime soon. @Sons of Horus, cheers, and I did mock up the model with P-fists right and left but I didn't like it. I f I had smaller ones then maybe but the one I got were just to awkward. Will hopefuly have Thor finished tonight maybe even the base to, Cheers guys. Anywas I feel I have went off following individual gods and son and heros and doing "count as" models. I feel Odin and the others have been demoted to a wolf guard pack rather than chapter master and HQ choices. Think thats come about to me following the SW codex when comming to playing the game. Never the less still keeping the general feel and look I was orgionaly going for and trying not to over do it with to many SW parts. Latest additions Arjac rockfist. Some GSt and a converted hammer. Not sure about the highlight around the ripped holes though, it looks a bit stark. Also that fur could maybe have more depth to it using a wash? Awesome work though, love your conversions! In the myths of old the gods spend all their time trying to bring him to justice for his actions, so that would be kinda cool imho. And I have to nitpick just a bit: Thor had red hair. To the vikings, redheads were marked for greatness by the gods - especially the males, as they were said to have inherited some of Thor's strength and bad temper ...
