ElTanko Posted June 24, 2009 Author Share Posted June 24, 2009 Thanks For your comments guys, helps spur me on! The pinks not actually to hard. Baseciat black, layer of mechrite red, then first coat of pink, then I splosh on a load of purple wash all along the edges, then fill the middle with pink to brighten it , then go over the purple with some pink, but just enough that the purple peeks through. The pink is a good shade, not to pale and bright like the ones GW advertise on the box, but not to dark that they look purple either! The basing is fantastic, it is good enough to add something nice to the model, but not so extravagent that it distracts from the brilliant model! I hope to see more soon! Same with the torso, it's kinda leathery skin, but I'm tempted to just highlight that part and see how it looks. In my opinion it's too dark and i think a lighter shade would fit with the overall brightness/lightness of the pink. Thats a personal thing though,besides that he looks great. Cheers, Mike.
