TostitoBandito
In the current Chaos Codex it lists Chaos Dreadnaughts (and Defilers for that matter) as having a strength of 6 with nothing in parenthesis denoting the dreadnaught close combat weapon doubling the strength. Is this a typo or omission, or does a Chaos Dreadnaught really hit at strength 6 while a SM Dreadnaught hits at strength 10? In the 5th edition rulebook (and presumably the SM codex too) it lists SM Dreadnaughts with a strength of 6 (10). Thanks. Legatus
Chaos Dreadnoughts are usually equipped with a Dreadnought Close Combat Weapon. That weapon doubles a Walker's Strength up to a maximum of 10 and is described on page 73 of the rulebook. The current Codex SPace Marines also lists their Dreadnoughts simply as having Strength 6. Grey Mage
Its just the bonus for having a DCCW isnt included in the profile, you have to do it yourself. I just wanted to be sure since I'm getting into 5th edition having last played during 3rd edition. Thanks.
