TheJrade Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 Fairly new to the 5th edition after a long hiatus, and some things about it I like a lot, but some things really suck. In particular is the pants-yanking nerf my Fire Prisms have suffered. The new Blast weapon rules mean that I am going to miss my target roughly half the time, making the only real heavy weapons in my army nearly useless. Worse is the fact that Skimmers Moving Fast has basically been removed. I know techincally it's still there, but you can either shoot or defend yourself, so I am forced to choose between being (possibly) alive or useless. I know everyone hated them in the last edition, but did they really need to become totally useless in this one? That added to fact that they still cost 150-200 points adds up to them going back on the shelf for the next few years... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
