Hi all,

I did say on my Swamp Dragons (now changed to Jungle Wraiths) post, that I would post up pics of my attack bike. Ok so Its not anywhere near finished yet, but I'll be updating as I go along.

This is my first model painted in 12 years and hopefully my now older and fatter fingers are up to the quality I used to paint at lol

Finally got round to doing some more of the Wraith bike yesterday, unfortunately my daughter had stolen the charger wire for the camera for her phone til this morning, but as promised...

I do need to touch up the bone on the rims of the bike but I think I'll wait until I've finished the base and marine before going back to finish it

Seeing it from that second angle, you could have done a better job sanding down the join on the tyres. Spoils it a bit when you've done such a nice job on the paint.

I'm going to go back and do this lol. Luckily, the paint keeps chipping off so no big deal shaving off some plastic before I finish the model :)

I've shaved the wheel down, expect a more professional looking bike posted tomorrow ;)

Thank you!!!! As the first time I see your bike, that mold line slapped me round the face. :)

Are you going to dirty up the bike with mud and stuff or leave it nice and clean?

I know, that was a terrible mistake for me. I've filed down all my bike squad wheels now, so they should be hell of a lot better when I'm done.

Not sure about the dirty bike yet, I imagine I'll make the wheels and undercarriage a bit mucky since I'm going to add a muddy track base. I'll be posting that on here when I get round to buyin some vaseline for the green stuff :)

New pics of the bike and also the base which has been greenstuffed ready to be sanded down, the wheel was also harder to scrape than I thought so I'm going to cake it in sand and muddy it up a bit tomorrow :P

The Base (Sorry for the slightly out of focus pic, I have very shaky hands at times)

Posted in your WIP for the bases but I thought I'd echo MRCHAOS point of dirtying up the bike a bit. Just some splatter on the sides a bit and dirty up the tires. Also the exhausts look a little clean. Maybe put some brown and black wash on it to give the impression of exhaust fumes collecting on the exhaust pipe.

Cheers, Messanger

Aye, the bike looks a bit virgin to be riding around the jungle in lol. I have big plans for mucking the bike up which I'll be doing when I've got the muddy colour scheme for the base.

As I said, this is the first model I've painted in 12 years so I do forget things which leads me to thank you for the exhaust tip Massanger :P
