Spacewolf colouring

I've always preferred the grey-look over the baby blue-look, so I say you should go with that.

If you want a cold icy feeling to his armor, like frost, drybrushing different shades of blue-ish white should do the trick. Always does the trick for me, anyway, when I'm painting my frost blades.

Which Shadow Grey? Which Space Wolves Grey? There have been no less than three of the former and I think four or five of the latter in the last fifteen years. Personally I like the original SW Grey and plan on redoing my army in that (last army was the newest SW grey, before they even changed it, just because).

well i paint my wolves space wolf grey with yellow pads, i never use GW paints, i buy my own from the local makit

i mix the blue to have an ever so slight green tinge but it is still verry much space wolf grey and i make the yellow a bit closer to a tan colour

i then do a light drybrish of white over parts of the armour like the greaves like snow

i then paint most of the wolf pelts with a mix of grey and red-amber to give a timber wolf colour

also i like to model things like my grey hunters with spears and other close combat weapons on thier backpack but i keep my bloodclaws with chainswords and knives
