Commissar Molotov
Messanger: Thanks for your in-depth response. I'm always keen to hear other peoples' responses. Dropping the Black Templar was a difficult decision because I felt that I could have done some cool stuff with him. Ultimately, though, I wasn't sure that I could true-scale one particularly well; I would've wanted to add a tabard, and as I'm using terminator torso-fronts, my only option would've been to GS it - something I don't think I could've done particularly well. The Castigator in the squad (see signature) will fill the role of psyker-hating bigot just fine! :P As for the Scythes, I think (I hope!) that they've learnt not to underestimate the Tyranids by now! If not, they're in trouble! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171923-truescaled-deathwatch-kill-team/page/2/#findComment-2138429 Share on other sites
Captain Juan Juarez
I say keep the Iron Snake... I haven't actually seen a converted model anywhere for the Iron Snakes, so I'd love to see what you can do. Plus, I hate you... But only because you are very talented! :cuss Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171923-truescaled-deathwatch-kill-team/page/2/#findComment-2140062 Share on other sites
Commissar Molotov
I've just got home after spending a week with the girlfriend and, having taken delivery of a fairly hefty mail order, I've set upon the truescale Deathwatch once more. Today I've been working on the squaad's leader, an Ultramarine: http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z121/mnesimache/TSDeathwatch/Ultramarine001.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z121/mnesimache/TSDeathwatch/Ultramarine002.jpg Here's a WIP of what I have so far; doubtless more work will be forthcoming! Terrible_Trygon
That's a nice pose. It actually makes the arms look a little less rexy.
