Azazal
Started these guys up back for the Call of Chaos 2, but life kept me from getting them done back then. Luckily times have changed and I got some time to start them up. Shooting for a dirty version of the Death Guard's White/Ivory with Green trim, like my PA Marines http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/XP1010012.jpg Behold my scary green-stuff skills, or lack there of. GlauG
I like them! Are they going to stay "double-based" like that to account for height discrepancies between the new and old models? Azazal
Some more work done, first layer of ivory has gone on, there will be a few more to go. Arms are blue tacked on for the moment to show wht they will look like, and yes the barrels will get drilled out later on down the line. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010004.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010005.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010007.jpg funny and nice looking termies  very old school nurgle, sick AND funny  great stuff Yeap, keeping them double based, here's a plastic termie for comparison http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010008.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171989-nurgle-termines/#findComment-2033343 Share on other sites

Azazal
Got the white pretty much done now, up next, details, or as I like to say about Chaos termies, painting hell time http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010009.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010010.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010011.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010012.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010013.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P1010014.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171989-nurgle-termines/#findComment-2037288 Share on other sites

Drudge Dreadnought
I like them except for the cyclops tentacleface. He just seems sort of low resolution/quality as compared to the others. Some detailed painting could liven the greenstuff up, but right now its a bit bland. Azazal
Back once more, and kids, todays tip, bronchitis and uncontrollable coughing fits makes painting damn tough. Any way, updated the termies with green trim http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170004.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170005.jpg I like them except for the cyclops tentacleface. He just seems sort of low resolution/quality as compared to the others. Some detailed painting could liven the greenstuff up, but right now its a bit bland. Actully the eye and tentacles only have the left overs of the primer and some stray ivory, no painting on that part of him yet The icon bearer / pseudo-champion has had a brown wash added to the green and some other trim work done http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Death%20Guard/Termies/P7170011.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171989-nurgle-termines/#findComment-2053114 Share on other sites

Silber
Back once more, and kids, todays tip, bronchitis and uncontrollable coughing fits makes painting damn tough. See, Papa Nurgle loves your Termies, too. ;) The Sluggo is my favourite. The tentacles aren't as good, sculpting-wise, but if you paint them right they'll be okay. The double bases look strange, though. Are you going to cover that up somehow? I would. Are you going to cover that up somehow? I would. I do like Sluggo the best so far as well, as such he will get the big boom reaper hey now, just because my green stuff skills have sent small children screaming into the night.. :( Once set-up, the double stack bases looks fine, as seen here, older IW termie of mine http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/azazal/Iron%20Warriors/P7180013.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/171989-nurgle-termines/#findComment-2053796 Share on other sites
Silber
I didn't say your greenwork is crap. I said it's not as convincing as the sluggo, but it's going to be okay if you paint them right. Yes, your GS-skills have potential for further improvement. Improvement comes from practice. There you go. And I'd still blend the base with some GS. That's not too hard, you'll stand to the challenge. And I believe it would look better. Just my humble opinion.... Cam2Designs
Cool color scheme. I am not as big a fan of "Funny Nurgle" as Phil is, though. My only real criticism is something that no one has mentioned...mould lines. They are more apparent in the first pics of marines...on the weapons especially. Also, on the termies there are some undrilled barrels. Since some are already drilled, didn't know if you just forgot or will do it later. Excellent job, though.
