my newest design

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, after seeing Doghouse's dogs of war massive baneblad/landraider, i have decided to make my own version of it, I have ordered the tracks and they should be here in a week, so in the meanwhile i am working on the inner shell of the tank, it is a tank salvaged from a bad primer job and broken bitz, i have run inot some problems with the lower fron door, but i am currently working on a way to keep it rotating freely. It is still very WIP and the inside and outside will be very ornately detailed and painted.

argh, it turns out the actuator piece that allows both the doors to open has broken, along with the lower ramp and after nearly two hours of trying to fix it and having it brake twice and no fluid movement of the door I need to order a new lower door and bottom actuator piece (the little round thing on the inside of the tank that moves the doors) I was thinking of using Apocabitznow.com but does anyone have and reviews/ other sites (in the US) i can get the bits from as I have never ordered from them.

Hey TIH, best of luck with the project, and those parts can be a right pain in the behind once broken. Have been forced many years ago to glue the ramps shut on 2 raiders.

Only question at this point, where's the engine going to go if you are using the veryback as a equipment rack?

I got the body done, just needs gap filling (how to cut plastic card straightly?)

It actually looks like it can hold 20 space marines, the sponsons are in the process of being magnetized, the left one done, just awaiting new weapons. The gunners will be magnetized and it will have the option of a whirlwind turret. Scale shots included!

Success, I have finally gotten down the ideal design for this puppy and am starting to paint it, so far the painting is very WIP and the reds need highlights and a good wash.

On second thought, the red is pretty smooth do you really think it needs a devlan mud wash?
