I very nearly had to scrap them all and start afresh due to the evil that is purity seal! My remedy for getting rid of the nasty gray frosting, cloudy type effect that crap leaves sometimes is as follows: Don't cry to much.... Spray them all with flash powerspray and scrub like hell with a toothbrush.... let them all dry fully not forgeting to rinse them thoroughly first.... generously wash them all with badab black straight from the pot! Drink a pot of badab black! it's good for you! I wish i'd had taken a snap of them how they were but at the time i was so pissed off there was no thought of that i just wanted to save them. They aren't 100% there is still a little frosting but i can deal with that when it comes to tidying them up. I still need to apply the transfers, and the bases need some work, other than that they're done. Exacerbating the situation with language like that is hardly necessary or conducive to making right a situation you're not happy with. They look excellent, the green matches the blue far better than I would have expected, and the tone of the grey used on the bases offsets the blue nicely. I do find the BA icons destracting and draw away from the over all effect but not much to be done with so much work already put in. Its a minor thing at that.
