GeneralStukov
He uses something called, "Ebay" no just messin, these are fantastic! do you have any previous work with models of this size and any other tabletop game experience? Those are fantastic... I dislike Blood Ravens cause they kinda are just meh (cop-out to make a chapter by a gaming company to plug their game) but I like these, crisply painted, perfect blending.. any tips in getting them this perfect? Also, love the sterguard model, going to pick one up myself while I can, that's how I imagined the leader of a small strike force would look but its cool.. someone took my idea (durned GW and there ideas!) I have all my WIP model photos, still :P So no ebay here, lol. No experience painting minatures before these, but my hobby is cartography, which part of is painting maps with a paintbrush to represent different elevation, etc. So I guess that helped, plus I read a loooooooot of guids. The tac squads were the first thing I did, with the dreadnaught being the latest. Atm working on a land speeder. The dreadnaught was probably about 12-14 hours. :P
GeneralStukov
I'm floored bro, those are still epic.. showed my girlfriend and like a true gamer went, "Holy S*@T that's epic!" she made me feel a little bad cause I take a bit longer with models but I've got crappy paints and no GS, curse of my job not paying more then the rent heh. Where are those WIP shots if I may ask?

AdeptusDavidus
http://40kforums.com/imageupload/images/img49fd57f35da44.jpg I love your red. Most of the Blood Ravens I've seen have been more of a Mars-red or a bright Blood-Angel-y red, but yours have a really nice maroon-purple cast to them. Gorgeous. Also, I love the sergeant there, I just can't get enough of that model. One of the veterans, isn't he? Is that a metal model?
Sir Clausel
Gorgeous Ravens here! Love them!. How did you do the red?
KhornateKiller
WOW!!!!!!!!!! that is an awsome army painted there. Your highlighting skill is superb and as for your basing thats great to. Wish my first atempt at painting was so good. My only critique and it is my only one would be drill the barrels out on the guns. And i only say that cos i always get copped for not doing it lol But mate keep up the awsome work very jealous of your skill KK
arutha
Love these! did you buy the bases pre-molded or did you make them, either way they look great.
Kronk
These are among the best blood ravens I've seen. Congrats, and great work.
Roleplayer
The red is simply, Base red Mach Red, 2 thin coats. Red Gore, 2 thin coats. 2 washes of Baal Red Wash over the entire model. Then a highlight of 50/50 Redgore/blood red Then a highight of pure blood red. I found the red looks much brighter on the marines I am currently painting for my landspeeder, because I am painting their right shoulderpad red for the mechaicum. So I think that makes the rest of the red look 'more red'. I think the darker red is really a visual illussion brought about by the bleached bone on the shoulder pads  I'll see if I can get some closeups of the librarian. And yes, that Sgt is a metal model! He was my 3rd one, I'm going to go back and paint a name on his chest now I feel more confident. One of the old Vetern Sgt Blisters. I'm seriously considering wasting another 50 dollars on getting the old veterns box while its still in stock at my local GW...
dustermaker
Amazing job on the painting! I also like the fluff you added to your char. It gives the army more character.
Vash113
Very nicely done Blood Ravens, I find with the BR it's a real hit or miss, the scheme either looks great, or terrible but you deffinitely pulled it off!
Yeril
I have to say, Not only are these the best painted Blood-ravens I've ever seen, I'd have to say they are contesting for the best painted army I've seen! 100% top class! Fantastic work, I love the librarian convertion and I love how much background you put into it. Your use of AoBR Marines seems to hint at AoBR Terminators are in your army, I'd love to see them! if you've painted them yet.
