Fearless models and necrons

Recommended Posts

the rule is for the C-Tan in general called Manifestation p27 Codex Nec. If you fail a Ld test you can't assault him that turn. Fearless units though are assumed to pass all morale tests so assault till your heart's content.

All Morale checks are Leadership checks.

All Leadership checks are NOT Morale checks.

Fearless only passess Morale checks. You need to roll for the Leadership check.

EDIT

EXAMPLE 1:

Pinning is a Leadership Check; not a Morale check. Fearless USR specifically calls it out that they will not have to pass that specific type of Leadership check as well as all Morale checks

EXAMPLE 2:

A Fearless Psyker must pass a Leadership test to cast a psychic power. The Psychic check is another form of Leadership check that is NOT a Morale check. If Fearless allowed you to pass all Leadership checks, you would never have to roll for a Psychic check.

100% true, the C'tan rule calls for a leadership test, NOT a moral test, you must still make the test to assult a C'tan even if fearless.
