Garmr
I don't think this could work well in a Space Wolf army . I mean , it could work very well with alot of space marines chapters like Ultramarines , Dark Angels (they recruited in a world populated by native americans), Imperial Fist , Crimson Fist ecc..But there are some chapters that have a strong theme like White Scars, Blood Angels , Salamanders and us . We are the Viking army of the 40k so the skin of our space marines should be like northern-scandinavian . However Megalodon said the right thing when he said that if you want to paint something diffirent you could paint them like leather. Florida Gator
I think the real answer to the post is this: some of you say he shouldnt do this cause it doesnt go with the fluff. WRONG. If you want to heavily follow the viking theme, great. But i can't see why we the wolves wouldnt get along with or recruit a native because they were black or asian looking, unless your wolves are racist. But lol we dont wear robes so thats not it :cuss . Bottom line: paint em how you want. I add divrsity, i painted a blood angels assault sergeant black, and he looks fine. When you play a game, you shouldnt be thinking about what color their skin is supposed to be based on fluff. The hobby is for FUN after all.
