Captain Malachi
I saw someone do a CSM daemonprince by mounting a sorcerer on a carnifex once, was quite good but I don't know if it'd work for daemons. If you can pull it off then go for it, but aren't warpbeasts a bit small to be made from monstrous creatures? Firedrake28
I think a Carnifex would make a fantastic base for a Daemon Prince of Khorne because of the cloven hooves and all, not to mention its general "beefiness". No idea how to go about making a conversion, though. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/172759-i-was-thinking-about-converting-a-few-dp-and-warp-beasts/#findComment-2042142 Share on other sites
antique_nova
hmmmm good point about the warp beasts. warning! alot of brain power must be used to imagine what i am trying to say! ^^ these suggestions are being aimed at DP and GD of each god i also suggest when trying to convert such spiky models, that you used GD and DP heads. i have thought of some suggestions for each god, and the models that would suit them: tzeentch: lictor with tzeentch gd bird head? zoanthrope with lictor legs and arms? khorne: carnifex and hive tyrant mix or just don't mix them and maybe have a bt head. ( if you are gonna make the bt or dp winged, then use tyranid wings on the tyranid models, chaos wings just don't look good on a tyranid model ) nurgle: Carnifex body, with the sac of the biovor ( don't spend too long thinking about the sac...it's just too growse*can't spell* ), not sure what you would do with the legs, as nugle is the hardest. so shall we give it a miss? slaneesh: ravener or tyranid warrior body with lictor limbs and either lictor legs or hive tyrant legs. With one of the GD slaneesh heads. ( the legs might need to be extended to make the slaneesh model look fast and tall ) what do you think? Draeden
Actually what I had in planned for a Greater Daemon of Undivided/Nurgle, was an idea off one of the guys who until recently worked at my local Games workshop. He had bought a Carnifex and was slowly converting it into a Greater Daemon of undivided. Apon seeing it I had the idea of getting a carnifex, leaving off the head and get the biomorph with many holes on the back.... think it's the spine back or soemthing... anyways, convert hte holes into many many eyes and where the head is ment to be, fashion a gaping maw. Then do some other stuff to make it look impressive, Iunno beyond that part.
