Brother Tancred
I have some chaos marines laying around and want to paint them so I'm looking into doing Iron Warriors as I love the fluff and the colour scheme. Here is a quick text model I did the other day: http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/CallumM27/Iron%20Warriors/DSCF2036.jpg http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/CallumM27/Iron%20Warriors/DSCF2039.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/172836-iron-warriors-test-model/ Share on other sites
Hellios
looks good :geek: I often think Iron Warriors look better when made dirtier and less clean :D eitheway seems a solid job :() although I'm no IW expert. Brother Tancred
I'll probably make the actual army more dirty exept for their guns as I've read that they kept them in perfect condition. Moress
I really like your hazard stripes on the shoulder, they look Ace! I know it's a loyalist model, but I find that giving my IW's as much gold triming as possible makes them look great, and it also helps break up all the iron you get hit by when you look at the model. Usually I paint the trim on the legs (Again, it's a loyalist model so that doesn't apply here), and the elbow pads, exc. Overall, very well painted! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/172836-iron-warriors-test-model/#findComment-2043031 Share on other sites
Kabbala
I think it looks great! I love the color and the way the legs are painted, it looks like he's been slogging through some industrial complex or IW stronghold. Cyresh
well...if you want to make it a little darker i suggest a thin wash of badab black, maybe followed by some devlan mud in some places :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/172836-iron-warriors-test-model/#findComment-2043066 Share on other sites

Uprising
I like it, i think the head need some minor detail like painting the skull gold and painting the eyes. But it really good for a test model. chillin
Looks good, good detail. It's a bit "shiney" though, I would do a very thinned out wash of black over the silver.
