I like the conversions too,inparticular the ogre ironfist-powerfist conversion. Seems to be a lot of marines using purple poping up lately. Cheers, Mike. I'd steal the idea, but it wouldn't fit into the Ultramarines' Second Company, lol. I like the use of the Rhino hatch as a shield. Very creative! The ogre and Rhino hatch conversions were actually spawned from my purchase of the giant grab-bag pack over at thewarstore - I got like 234907435 tank sprues and had no idea what to do with them. :D Anyone have any tips for detailing and making the gold a little less "gold"? At the moment I'm going with Iyanden Darksun as a basecoat and then inking it with a heavily watered brown, then going gold over that, and finishing with another wash of the brown ink, so it's a little burnished looking - but it's still kinda... bright - you know?
