Brandon011383
Hello all, I have just a quick question about an annihilation game I played this weekend. Does a drop pod count as a kill point? Is it considered a seperate unit then the Dread that it was dropped with? This may be an easy question to answer but neither of us could officially answer this... Thank you for your responses in advance. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/173300-drop-pod-in-annihilation/ Share on other sites

GreatEscape_13
Could be worse... you could play Tyranids and field a spore mine cluster as a fast attack choice--which counts as a kill point, and only works by destroying itself. Or could play Tau and realize those two gun drones that shoot out of your devilfish when it dies just added an uber-fragile kill point to your side. Cheers. Coyote
Another way to view things: I WANT them to shoot the DPs. Especially the turn that they land. If they're shooting DPs (which is an AV12 on all sides after all), they're not shooting something else. Like my nice pretty Ironclad. And, as a bonus, when they do pop the DP, I now have a 6" wide piece of cover right next to the real threat that they didn't shoot at. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/173300-drop-pod-in-annihilation/#findComment-2050852 Share on other sites
