Divergent Reality Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 a thought popped into my head a while ago and i can not come to a full answer. if a squad of scarabs with disruption fields with an attached lord with the lightning field wargear assault some form of vehicle, be it a dreadnought, tau tank with flechette launchers, titan, whatever. and they take wounds to trigger attacks from the lightning fields, does the lightning field damage benefit from the disruption fields upgrade? Legatus Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 Not sure, but since the lightning field hits specifically do not have any AP, so are not benefiting from the lords (or the unit's he is with) power weapon, I would say they do not benefit from the disruption field either. E.G. if the Lord with lightning field joined a unit of Pariahs and they got hit, the lightning field hits the enemy would recieve would not ignore armour saves. Just the same, why would any other enhancing ability like the disruption field work if the Lord joined a unit of Flayed ones with disruption fields?
