Some new Space Wolves for my Army!

Thanks :] Actually, he's not a Wulfen in this case, just an ordinary, very pissed of, Wolf Guard :P

But I guess that model could be used as a Wulfen... or is he officially one?

I dunno, I reckon the 'eavy metal GW one's "human" colored anyways.

Then again.. with some green stuff.. that sculpt could be one feral wulfen character.... I'll look into that (I've got two more of that sculpt, might make one into a wulfen :P)

That's just not fair... looking as awesome as ever, Lando! I really, really like that Rune Priest, maybe I'll have to dig mine out and repaint him...

You do that! The sculpt's one amazing piece of work, and I really had forgot how cool he is. CAn't believe he's been lying in my WIP-box for a whole year!

Thansk, anyway! ANd go paint that runepriest, he deserves it.

That reminds me, I actually bought the Games Day Wolf Priest the other day... might be next on my to do list :HQ:

Brothers! Updating yet again, the new (as of 2009!) absolutely awesome Wolf Guard is done. I absolutely love this sculpt, some of you have given him critique in this here thread, I say nay! Stop it at once and order him right now! :D He's quite freaking cool (I bought three the day when one could....)

Anyways! Juan Diaz', man made god, sculpt is done, here's how he turned out.

Rawr! Although he looks slightly horrible in places due to too much macro zooming I guess xD

Here's a close up anyways.

And oh yeah! New guy, if you thought the 2003 Rune Priest was old, check this guy out which I was able to get me eager hands around some time ago, this brother is from freaking 1993!

Hell yeah, gotta love those old but still insanely detailed sculpts! We Wolves are truly greatful for them. Funny not to see that over the course of no less than 16 years the Space Wolves facial expressions has yet to change!

PS. Local-WIP-name for this guy is "Pippi Longstockings" xD gotta love being a Swede.

More coming up brothers, keep updated.

Haha, thanks, and yeah, you really should! I've heard that the guy's had some critique for the way he looks, but honeslty, one can't understand the greatness of this guy until you've held this piece in your hand. The amount of details on the guy's INSANE.

Also, we old wolves should show GW how much we care by buying this guy, if we don't buy the new stuff, what hint will they get that we're still in the game?

So go buy that guy now brothers!

And yeah, that scouts been lying around for far too long. But now he's back in business, and he'll probabaly be finished tomorrow! I lack his backpack, though ;_;

But I think I'll strip a regular servo pack and make something that kidna looks like a scout pack.

I'll also use his Power Sword to make a tutorial on how you paint blizzard blades! But that'll be another thread! :(

Thanks Brothers! Kind words like these make me paint better ;)

And here's the proof! After 16 years in the cold, this Wolf Scout Sergeant (wonderful sculpt I must add) is finally all done! Yes, woo ;_;

Managed to fix him a scout-like backpack by stripping and ordinary servo pack of some of it's bigger parts... I guess it works, ain't perfect, but it works.

Next up's a wulfen, or another one of those Lightning claw wolf guards :)

And oh yeah.. the Games Day Wolf Priest is on the list too ;)

Today was Tank day. I painted a sculpted a bunch of thjings for the old Leman Russ, and I even made a small tutorial from that Wolf Icon that I will post in a couple of minutes. But while you wait, here's some WIP of the tank :)

It's about 60% done.. base and secondary colours on most of it, gonna fo fortressgrey+white mix on it, and then pure white drybrush. Then some details, and some insignas and logos and cool stuff!

Some runes too, probably. Hope y'all like how it develops

Also, I moved that rope thing from below to the side of the heavy bolter.. kept falling off, so I placed it on a safer spot :)

Now for that tutorial ...

Right Brothers, I've been painting some minis yet again! Been a bit off lately helping a mate out to paint som nids but some wolves has been completed in the meantime.

Here's a completed Assault Marne, Brother Bagrik, he's the fourth Assault Marine to be completed in my army, conting my Shierke conversion, pretty neat. Oh yeah, all of my current Assault Marines and all of the coming are gonna have those wolf pelts on their packs in various sizes and colors!

Gotta love Maruader Horsemen heads btw.

And here's an upcoming 13th Company Wulfen, bought these way back when they were at the shelves, got about 8 of them total, gues I'll post all of 'em someday seeing I have yet to do so and I really love 'em.

Reckon that leg turned out kinda cool eh :D

Oh well that's all, more to come I'm sure!

Thanks Brother!

THis is shaping up, I'm almost done with above Wulfen (he was about 40% done there I'd say) and I've begun painting on a second wulfen, this one's lightly converted.. removed and arm and attached a beast-arm with a power axe :D

Next wulfen will have a power fist ;D Not that it's good fo anything game-wise.. but I got like 9 power fist lying around, and I though a wulfen with one would be kinda hilarious :(

A 2nd edition Grey Hunter with Power Fist is coming up too.. been lying in my WIP-box for too long :)

Great stuff, I really like your painting style :) Too often we can get sucked into beleiving there is a certain way of doing things. Nice to see your very unique style. The names around the base is a cool touch. Your tutorial with the whip wielding character was great, do you always do them in that way?

Thanks brother! Make me happy to hear, and soon the latest Wulfen, and a totally new one, will be up here for show. Maybe today, even, depending on how much time I can spend on them both.

Yeah, the two tutorials I've made so far has been made in that way, and I reckon I might continue doing it like that, funnier for me, and hopefully also fo you xD Added it to the Librarium just this morning, we'll see if it gets through :D
