Alanter Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 Nice idea! Some tweaks: I've you like the pre-heresy-look TDA, then keep the dread pads. Seems to be a common conversion. Brother Martemis Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 i thought, having read Fire's Of War and not checking sallies IA (so apologies if i am wrong) salamanders that died were cremated in thier armour??? so... would they have heresy era armour? having said that, could just be realy ornamental, like artificer TDA (looks good but is no better, unless 'special rules' state otherwise looks cool though, maybe model some flames on the base, like hes walking through fire... They´re very slow to produce and are very rare. He´s very WIP. The arms and shoulder pads can be removed and repositioned. I´ve got a lot to GS (scales on the cloak and the naked shoulder pad. Especially since Terminator armour is carefully handcrafted for centuries while Power armours are still somewhat mass-produced factory-style. Shave down the original details on the SS's then use some green stuff to make them look a little more reptilian like then work in the salamander logo some how. As for Tu'Shan first off I LOVE the TH. (I did the same thing with my termies hammers only left the crest on the top of the lizardman heads.) 2ndly I think maybe with some green stuff you can throw the flame effect on the underside of of his cape (kinda like they did with Vulkan's cape) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
