greatcrusade08
block them, contain and pit your 5 elites VS their whole army that is kinda how a scouts refused flank works. you always deploy last regardless of who wins first turn, make your opponent deploy evenly then only deploy in a third of the battlefield far on one flank. my win ratio vs orks is really good, i cant recall a single loss (im sure there must have been one though), most of the damage is done during deployment.. edit: i just remembered a loss, in a tournament, it was a 1250 points level and lootas in battlewagons chewed me up, it was after that i started running "the twins" (two melta torpedos) i would also like to read tuals account, might be able to learn some new tricks  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/173785-scout-tactics-part-7-orks/page/2/#findComment-2899212 Share on other sites
MagicMan
Just marines in general. A scout tactica is cool, because i can apply it to the scouts in my force, but id rather read a general Codex SM one. If possible. Crosses fingers. Haha. MMEagle
I understand what people are saying. And I do take PK's in my army, just not in every unit. The 20 points is something I could spend on some more Lootas/Burnas or upgrades for other units. If I take 20 boyz I always include a Power Klaw, on 30 Boyz, its possible. because that mnay Boyz will wipe throuhg anyone. Though on Nobz and Nob Bikerz I put a mix in, for some wound allocation shinnanigans :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/173785-scout-tactics-part-7-orks/page/2/#findComment-2899463 Share on other sites
