ryan.............
here's my dilemma. Should i scratch build an average warhound/reaver with lots of balsa wood and some imagination? or should i wait for several months until a have enough money for a forge world warhound? WingsOfTheFalcon
My thoughts are this, if you have the ability to build a good looking titan, then surely it will give you more satisfaction than buying one off the peg? Also you can use the saved funds to buy some dirty great superheavy tanks to sit next to it. Good luck and post pics! jeffersonian000
Go for the scratch build; it gets you playing with one sooner and allows you to see what works and what doesn't before you waste funds on a bad choice later on. smelly_squig
my advice would be to look at what would be the most fiddly or difficult part to build (on a warhound i would make a guess at the head). then if you can build that without a lot of difficulty then the rest should be easy but if you find it really difficult then at least you have not spent all of your money on enough supplies for the whole thing as the only money you have spent was for the head.
