red scars wip thread

i've decided to join the power - armoured side and have started an army based loosely on the white scars.

 

the main idea is that they "applied" to be white scars and were turned down. as a result of this they got a bit cheesed off and started their own chapter to prove that they are good enough to be in the white scars and set out to prove they are even better.

 

most of the army will be on bikes as this is an obvious trademark of the scars.

 

not sure about the quality of the pictures and yes, there is a big shield in the way but here are the first set of pics:

Long time, no update and sadly no replies but never mind...It turns out that my red isnt showing up very well, it either looks pink or purple or orange so i apart from the standard bearer in this update i'll only be able to post models in wip until i sought out a better camera.

Somehow i highly doubt the Inquisition tolerating a bunch of 'cheesed off' 14-year-olds buying/stealing materials and equipment from obviously questionable sources and imbuing their already-deemed deffective bodies and minds with the gene-seed of the emperor's finest.

 

The color scheme is fun though. Suggest a tripod for clearer pictures (probably why there were no comments originally) and also the paint is very flat - maybe a wash of green or black over the entirety would be in order?

i readin fluff that most applicants who are taken by Space Marine chapters for tedsting and turned down get used by the chapter as serfs and menial labour but saying that if you can come up with a nice solid back story to support it then go for it, its your army theme how you please.BTW your minis look good keep it up

thanks for replying, after a bit of re-thinking i decided they're really rebel fighters and the inquisition regard them as heretics.
