Pendrecki
Raven Guard player... (an advance sorry to the guys at sons of corax for the repost here...) So I need green stuff advice, and I got into a gluey mess that you can see on the rear shot. Throw out all the advice you guys can, cause this projects a bit of a trainwreck... Mainly the left arm is bad, and the armor is glue saturated where the left arm shoulder pad meets it... http://i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu206/Pendrecki/LibrarianWebernrear.jpg So, on the wysiwyg angle, Librarian Webern is an older very practical Librarian in a 10th company training unit. He's old, currently using the smite ability, has his psychic hood integrated into terminater armour. I streamlined him down from the terminator sergeant that comes with aobr. I had made a tome for him, but settled for the scroll on his hip instead, the book was well executed (for me!) but was not to scale. To summarize, is a basic librarian, in terminator armor, bolt pistol, smite, gate (not represented), and a two handed falchion style force weapon. http://i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu206/Pendrecki/LibrarianWebern.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/174285-librarian-webern-aobr-terminator-conversion/ Share on other sites
Iron Phoenix
It's difficult with these shots to give any feedback. make sure your camera is focussed on the model itself and not the backdrop when photographing! Emperor's Scourge
Macro function on cameras work wonders as well. Looks good so far. Wondering why you chose a bolt pistol rather than a storm bolter though. For the CCW attack bonus? Pendrecki
I'll work on better photos, my camera skills are pretty weak... I'll post more in a few days when the next advance occurs... The bolt pistol is just for the extra attack in cc. Pretty much I use gate to move around and the next turn I set up to assault after I use smite. ...though I did realize last night that his terminator armor gives him relentless... so he could use vortex and move/assault... although hitting yourself with a str 10 ap 1 shot (blast marker too...) would really, literally, blow! I'll see what I can do about the focus issue as the gluey wreck over his left arm really bugs me... Also, the frontal shot makes the left arm look like its a quarter of an inch away from the body... its not... its just held to the side like a high gaurd pose Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/174285-librarian-webern-aobr-terminator-conversion/#findComment-2060308 Share on other sites
WelshMullet
i didn't think terminator models could have bolt pistols... i thought it was only combies and stroms... Pendrecki
i didn't think terminator models could have bolt pistols...i thought it was only combies and stroms... MWAM Duuuuuude! Hey man, thanks for the heads up... It said replace boltguns, but clearly it means bolt pistols too, because in the wargear list it says boltgun OR bolt pistol. um... oops. Guess I might have to start over on this one. Messanger of Death
Something you can always do is cover the damaged areas up with purity seals or some green stuffed parchment...could even have a go at doing some fur. The alternative is to cut a chunk out of the damaged area and then sculpt some green stuff onto the surface although I am not sure of what your abilities are with green stuff or your supplies. Cheers, Messanger Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/174285-librarian-webern-aobr-terminator-conversion/#findComment-2061688 Share on other sites
Pendrecki
Seals and parchment feels like a copout, but I guess thats kinda where I'm at! :P I like your idea of fur, or clothing, I wouldn't have thought about that on my own. I'm still pretty much a noob at gs. I think in the best of all worlds, I'd cut and replace it. I'm looking to have a stoic, streamlinned model. Another suggestion was wound or battle damage, though messing that up would neccisitate the cut and replace method. I'll update in a little bit with results... Thanks for the help and ideas...
