Snozz Posted September 5, 2009 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Personally, I think the base is quite good, I think what may make it look a bit off is the photo. :( To improve the base though, you could add more definition to the earth, maybe a wash and a drybrush, and possibly add a few small patches of grass or moss. Too much would make it look like a rock in a field, but a patch or two would break up the earth. Finally, tidy up the rim, and consider painting it black instead of brown.
