Two almost complete minis

I like to go with the flow and paint what inspires me, usually on here. So here are a couple of WIP guys. The first is a death guard on inspired by nurglephil. I have posted it before, but now it is touched up and based, just need to finish the pack. I really enjoyed making the slime :) PVA glue, inks and a pin :) And the rusting on the pipe came out really well, but not on camera :( :

And this second is inspired by nordy and trying out some battle damage techniques (some from here, some I thought may work and I think they did. Not based yet. The paint is a bit thick in places and I have not done the mould lines, but it was done more to test the principal of nordys fist recipie, so the next one will be better. The decal fading was super easy :cuss Just light a match, blow it out and touch it to the decal you have applied. Do this a couple of times, as it moulds the decal to the plastic and pulls little bits off :) :

As with all my minis, I do not follow fluff, but what I like.

They look really nice, I think the 2nd marine is better than the first. The battle damage looks really good.
